Dear Scarlet

This is a project to our daughter, Scarlet. We, your parents, are documenting your life. Our hope is that when you grow older you'll be able to look back and see how happy you have always made us.

Dear Scarlet,
Last night your fever spiked and we had to take a trip to the ER. We ended up being there for 5 hours during a tornado watch and an earthquake happened about 2 or 3 hours in. It was pretty crazy, but you were such a good girl the entire time. We were so proud of you. You thought getting an X-ray was awesome and loved looking at all the medical posters. You have a double ear infection and that’s what has been keeping you up the past few nights. It’s so hard to watch you hurt and have no appetite. Here’s to hoping that you get better fast so that we don’t have to go back and get a shot of antibiotics.
